Puerto Rico Tip-Off- Maryland

Link to the tournament website.

Maryland is in their first season without the great sweat-hog Gary Williams who retired after a few years of mediocrity. Mark Turgeon took over... you probably know him as the former Texas A&M coach that replaced the great Billy Gillispie when he dominated at Kentucky.

Maryland won their opener over UNC Wilmington 71-62. Terrell Stoglin scored 22 (I think off the bench) on 6-16 shooting. The team was 0-9 from beyond the arc though.

Prediction- we are far too talented for Maryland to keep up with. Alabama by 16.

Game is at 5PM EST on ESPN2. I would've like to attend, but last year's debacle in St Thomas and a busy schedule didn't allow for that.
