Regurgitated meat- @ Auburn 9PM EST (8PM CST) on ESPNU

Rivalry game part 2... blah blah blah. 5-7 visits 4-8 where 4-8 has lost 4 straight home games. Another 50/50 game here, but let's be honest... unless we win out, this one is for the top 2nd half of the SEC standings supremacy.

Auburn comes in losers of 6 of their last 8, but did win in Athens in their last contest.

Link to previous preview.

We won a squeaker in the 1st matchup, so I expect another one tonight. Two evenly matched teams.

This post is more a spot for comments. I'll be watching this one at a bar... I suggest you all drink heavily as it will probably be ugly (the game itself, not the point differential).

A lost tonight could probably make me break my silence. One more year of Grant I'll be on the organ transplant list!

What did you say about Randolph?

Best performance of the season, by far. I thought the game turned with Coach Grant's technical. Very interesting that tech fouls changed the outlook of both games. Levi and Coop stepped up as seniors. Levi showed in the 2nd half why he can be as good as he wants to be. And a great game for Justin Coleman. Had the one really bad shot, but I thought played lights out on the road in front of a very hostile crowd.

We don't always agree here about Anthony Grant and the direction of the program, but can we all agree that Cinmeon Bowers is a punk? The guy played a horrible basketball game, and should have been T'd up when he taunted Jimmie with the stare down and flex. You can already see the stench of Pearl on that program. First with Bowers, then Canada getting in Retin's face. I will forever be grateful that Bill Battle didn't bring that bellowing son of a bitch to Tuscaloosa. Grant may not be long for Tuscaloosa, but he'll exit with more class and dignity that Pearl can ever imagine.

Most complete game of the year and we were playing their genius coach. There ain't nothing good that comes from that God forsaken place.

Might be an overreaction, but I think this was one of the best games of the Anthony Grant era. We CREATED open looks all game, didn't give Auburn many. The game plan was great. The in game adjustments were great. Anthony Grant completely out coached Bruce Pearl tonight. There definitely seems to be some sort of personal beef between these two coaching staffs and I love it. The players responded so well to Grant's early technical. I wish he'd coach every game like this, because he was terrific tonight. This is the most proud I've been of an Alabama team in a long time. Levi finally played with that killer mentality in a road game. Retin played like a champ tonight. That in your face dunk at the end of the game was perfect. Bowers is a huge tool. He shot like 2-11 from the feel. Go flex somewhere else. There's been a lot of tension on this board regarding the coaching situation, but that all gets put to the side tonight. Roll Tide!

Caught the last 5 min of the game. Always great to b-slap the Aubs, especially in their house. ESPN cut away right when it looked like Pearl was going at it with Grant. I suspect he didn't like the dunk. Tough.

No complaints tonight. Great job by the team to play well on the road and finish. Congrats Coach Grant.

This was the best they have played all year. I was so glad I made the trip down to Auburn to watch this in person. Several Aubs sitting beside me told me it was the loudest they had heard the Arena all season, so I'm proud of this team for going on the road and pulling off the W. I think Retin and Levi had there best games of the season. Rebounding was a big difference in the game as we dominated the boards tonight.

I also saw the tension between the Bama and Auburn assistant coaches. It was around the 3rd media timeout of the 2nd half. It looked like one of our coaches had to be held back from yelling across the court at them.

If we played like this every game, I wouldn't care what our record is. Well, not as much.)

Don't know if this is real, but its interesting.
