Bama Beats Bengals In The Bayou

Retin Obossohan scored 35 points, including a perfect 11 for 11 at the free throw line, to lead Bama over LSU 76 to 69 and avenging the loss suffered to the same team on their home court.  Bama's defense held LSU 13 points of their season average, allowing Bama's guards to lead them in scoring in the victory.  Riley Norris gathered 17 rebounds to lead the Tide in that area.  Here is a Box Score.

This game does not get the Tide into the Tournament, but who among us thought we would even be considering the possibility at this point.   If this keeps up, Avery Johnson will earn SEC Coach of the Year honors.

Bama hosts M$U this Saturday and DJC should have more complete reports on tonight's game for you soon.

Roll Tide!
