If there ever has been a more deserving candidate for this honor, I'd like to know that person's name. I still remember seeing Horry for the first time in Coleman Coliseum during his freshman year and thinking, "Where'd that guy come from?" I was flabbergasted when told that he came from Andalusia because I'd always thought of it as being an api town.
I seriously would like to know if there is a more deserving candidate than Horry because, as a long-time Bama Basketball fan, it seems I should know at least something about that person.
